HONEYMOON

My parents always threatened that they would go somewhere nice without the children but they never really went. They were not on their honeymoon.

In summer of 2010 me and my family went to the United states of America. Trip to the USA was the first time that any of us traveled across the ocean.

I replicated the circumstances from the beginning of 90s (when my parents got married) with a purpose to give them more decent memory of their “never existing honeymoon”. I used a film camera which has been my father's for 20 years (he would probably use it on a real honeymoon trip). To be more accurate I cut myself and my brother out of the photographs. We weren't born yet back then.
